Folkestone Pride is an umbrella for our district's whole LGBTQIA+ community. We are more than just an annual parade — we provide safe spaces for people to meet, socialise, and learn. We spend our time raising awareness, educating, and advising on issues that face our community. Our summer parade is our biggest event — in 2019 there were over 1000 people in attendance! The visibility of a parade that celebrates the inclusivity and diversity of the local LGBTQIA+ community is particularly important for young people and those who are new to our community. Make sure to check out our calendar to see what's coming up soon!
