LGBTQ+ History Walk

Join us for a guided walk uncovering the queer history and heritage of Folkestone. Limited spaces of up to 20 per group!

Beginning at Orchard Lane Coffee House Sandgate and ending at The Folkestone Beershop, this walk is led by local Folkestonian Hunter from Folkestone Bookshop. Along the way, you’ll explore stories, landmarks, and lesser-known histories that have helped shape the town’s LGBTQ+ community.

Please note: Folkestone’s historic streets can be uneven and hilly, so the route may not be fully accessible to everyone. We encourage participants to join at a pace that feels comfortable for them.
