Allyship and Bystander Workshop

An interactive workshop exploring allyship and active bystander skills - what they mean, why they matter, and practical ways to support others and take meaningful action in everyday situations.

Time & Location

07 Jun 2026, 10:00 – 13:00

The Loft Studio, 9-17 Sandgate Rd, Folkestone CT20 1SB, UK

About the event

What does it really mean to be an ally? And when something doesn’t feel right, how can we step in safely and effectively?

This interactive workshop explores the role of allies and active bystanders in creating more inclusive, respectful, and supportive communities. Together, we’ll unpack what allyship looks like in everyday situations, examine common barriers to speaking up, and build practical skills for taking meaningful action.

Through discussion, reflection, and real-world scenarios, you’ll learn how to recognise harmful behaviours, support others with confidence, and move from good intentions to impactful action. Whether you’re new to these conversations or looking to deepen your understanding, this session offers tools and strategies to help you do more - thoughtfully, safely, and authentically.

Come ready to learn, reflect, and contribute to a more inclusive environment for everyone.

This event is free to attend, but ticketed due to limited capacity.
