Switchboard, the LGBT+ Helpline are a safe space for anyone to discuss anything, including sexuality, gender identity, sexual health and emotional wellbeing. They support people to explore the right options for themselves. They aspire to a society where all LGBT+ people are informed and empowered.
South Kent Mind
South Kent Mind is a local mental health charity supporting people across South Kent with advice, support and practical services. Its work focuses on improving mental health and wellbeing, building resilience, supporting recovery and ensuring that everyone experiencing mental health challenges has somewhere to turn.

NHS Sexual Health
NHS Kent Sexual Health Services provide free, confidential and inclusive support across the county, offering contraception, STI testing and treatment, HIV care, sexual health advice and support for young people. The service is committed to making sexual healthcare accessible, non-judgemental and welcoming to everyone, regardless of age, gender or sexual orientation.
Not A Phase
Not A Phase is a trans-led charity creating spaces where trans+ adults can connect, thrive and celebrate who they are. Through community projects, peer support, fitness and wellbeing programmes, awareness campaigns and funding for trans-led initiatives, the charity puts joy, connection and empowerment at the heart of its work.
TG Pals
Transgender Peer Associates are a not-for-profit company, based in Kent that aims to provide social and emotional support services, including peer support and mentoring, to any individual that identifies as transgender, transexual, gender assigned incongruent, transvestite, crossdresser, intersex, gender queer, gender questioning or any actual or perceived gender variance, their significant others and those who support them.

Since 1975, it has provided specialist support, advice and services, while campaigning for equality, challenging discrimination and empowering LGBTQ+ communities to thrive.
akt
akt is the UK’s national charity supporting LGBTQ+ young people aged 16–25 who are facing homelessness or living in unsafe or hostile environments. From emergency housing advice and dedicated caseworker support to mental health, education and community programmes, akt helps young people find safety, stability and the freedom to be themselves.
Mermaids
Mermaids supports gender-diverse children and young people until their 20th birthday, as well as their families and professionals involved in their care.
Transgender and gender-variant children and teens need support and understanding, as well as the freedom to explore their gender identity. Whatever the outcome, Mermaids is committed to helping families navigate the challenges they may face.
ROAR Kent
ROAR Kent is a lived-experience recovery organisation supporting individuals, families and communities affected by addiction across Kent. Through peer support, advocacy, recovery coaching, harm reduction and community activities, ROAR creates connection, builds confidence and helps people find a positive path forward.
