About the event
We’re partnering with Folkestone Wombles for a very special Pride edition of their much-loved community litter pick!
Fancy lending a paw and helping keep our town looking its best? Join the Folkestone Wombles – a friendly group of volunteers dedicated to clearing unwanted litter and making a positive impact in the local area.
This relaxed and welcoming session will run for a couple of hours, with participants meeting at the Civic Centre on Castle Hill Avenue (CT20 2QY). As this is a special Pride collaboration, you’re encouraged to wear the colours of the rainbow – completely optional, but always celebrated!
It’s free to take part, and everyone is welcome – all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Equipment, including litter pickers, bags, and high-vis vests, will be provided. This event is run by Folkestone Wombles - more information can be found on their socials.
