Pride Pre Party @ Chambers

Join us Friday before Pride at the Chambers as we kick off our pre pride celebrations with two incredible bands followed by DJ Cherry Disco!

Doors open 8pm-Midnight

9pm -Cosmic Something

Outsider, alt, psych, glam power trio Jemma Freeman and The Cosmic Something capture the misty hinterland found between emotions and actions. Emerging like joyous sci-fi warriors, the songs either overtly or indirectly demonstrate solidarity with anyone that’s ever identified feeling off kilter with the rest of the universe and needed an equally wonky soundtrack to back it.

An introspective, neurodivergent journey through psychedelic glam-rock nightmares, woozy flows of queer self- discovery and beguiling lyrics delivered with subtlety and intensity.

10pm Cool Hot Rockers

CHRockers are back!! Bringing their unique caravan of queer to Folkestone's disenfranchised and the rejected. The outcasts, the weirdos, the freaks, and the dejected. For those who don't fit in, but don't fit in fucking beautifully. Time again to Apocalypse Boogie 🪩

11pm Cherry Disco

Cherry Disco is a multi genre DJ based in Folkestone.

Over the years she has played club nights at iconic venues, including residencies in Camden, Soho and East London.

We feel passionately about Pride events being as accessible as possible to everyone, regardless of your financial situation.

Because of this, we have allowed for a number of free tickets for those who would like to join us for our pre Pride party. Our day event along the Leas Band stand is also free for all to enjoy.

We do however rely on tickets sales, to raise money for future Pride events and to cover the costs of the bands and DJ we have booked for Friday's event at The Chambers.

Which is why we have a sliding scale of payment options available.

Our pay it forward scheme allows you to pay an extra £1 towards contributing to a free ticket for someone else in the community.
